Easter Nails

At d-church last night the challenge was to post a pic of nails & say what easter means to us. If you image search 'easter nails' you get loads of pics like this one. It came as a stark reminder to me that for many, Easter is just about eggs, bunnies & a few days off (all of which are great) but they have very little to do with the real meaning of Easter. At some point this weekend I'm going to sit, be quiet, and think about a God who died for his people because he loved them that much. Surely Easter is worth a few minutes thought & reflection...even if it's just the time it takes you to paint your nails.
